In the action plan for the development of ultra high definition video industry (2019-2022), the Ministry of industry and information technology has planned the direction and requirements for the domestic ultra high definition video industry, and vigorously promoted the development of ultra high definition video industry and the application of related fields in accordance with the overall technical route of "4K first and 8K second". In 2022, the overall scale of China's ultra high definition video industry is more than 4 trillion yuan, the 4K industry ecosystem is basically complete, and breakthroughs have been made in the R & D and industrialization of 8K key technology products, forming a group of internationally competitive enterprises. Ultra high definition video content resources are extremely rich, the network carrying capacity is significantly improved, the construction of production, broadcasting, transmission and supervision system is promoted in coordination, the industrial development support system is basically sound, and a good pattern of coordinated development of technology, products, services and applications is formed.  
 
&Mdash; & mdash; by 2020, 4K cameras, monitors, switching stations and other special equipment for acquisition, editing and broadcasting will form industrialization capacity; the sales of 4K TV terminals that meet the requirements of high dynamic range (HDR), wide color gamut, three-dimensional sound, high frame rate and high color depth account for more than 40% of the total TV sales; establish a relatively complete ultra-high definition video industry standard system; China Central Radio and television and conditional places Fang TV station runs 4K channels, and cable TV networks and IPTV platforms in no less than five provinces and cities carry out 4K live channel transmission and on-demand services, realizing the production capacity of Ultra HD programs over 10000 hours / year; the number of 4K Ultra HD video users reaches 100 million; and the application demonstration based on Ultra HD video is carried out in the fields of culture, education, entertainment, security monitoring, medical health, intelligent transportation, industrial manufacturing, etc.
